Description

CAMTOP Тип D Mud Манометр is a heavy-duty analog pressure-indicating instrument designed for standpipe, mud pump, and choke manifold service on drilling rigs. Directly interchangeable with OTECO Модель 7 and Cameron D-style gauges, the Тип D provides quick, accurate pressure readout in harsh drilling environments — including H2S (sour) service, salt water, oil-based mud, and high-pressure mud circulation lines.

Featuring a 7-5/8″ diameter cast-alloy-steel case, a 2″ NPT female threaded process connection, and a precision bourdon-tube measuring element, the CAMTOP D-gauge is engineered to deliver long service life under continuous drilling vibration and shock. Multiple pressure ranges from 0-1000 PSI through 0-10,000 PSI are available to suit standard service, deep well, and HPHT applications.

How It Works

The CAMTOP Тип D Mud Манометр operates on the bourdon-tube principle: process pressure enters the curved metal tube through the 2″ NPT connection, causing the tube to deform proportionally. This deformation is transferred through a mechanical linkage to a precision gear movement, which rotates the pointer against a calibrated dial scale.

Установленный on the standpipe, mud pump discharge, or choke manifold sense line, the gauge provides the rig crew with continuous, real-time pressure indication. The pointer position is read directly from the dial face — no external power, calibration, or instrumentation loop required, making the Тип D ideal for remote rig locations and explosive-environment zones.

The tempered lens and cast-alloy case protect the internal movement from mud splash, salt-air corrosion, and rig-floor impact, while the isolated bourdon and socket prevent process media from contaminating the gauge internals.
