API Низкого давления, Low Температура (LPLT) Фильтр Presses are the most effective means of determining the filtration properties of drilling muds and cement slurries.
Working pressure is 100 psig and the filtering area is 7.1-in2, as specified in the American Petroleum Institute, API Recommended Practice 13B-1 and 13B-2.
Measuring filtration behavior and wall-cake building characteristics of a mud is essential to drilling fluid control and treatment. The characteristics of the filtrate, such as oil, water or emulsion content, are also fundamentally important. The types and quantities of solids in the fluid and their physical and chemical interactions affect these characteristics. Температура and pressure in turn affect the physical and chemical interactions. It is therefore necessary to run tests at both low-pressure/low-temperature and high-pressure/high-temperature. Multiple Блок Фильтр Press assemblies permit simultaneous running of one to six filtration tests. Each one of the assemblies consists of a frame with the indicated number of complete Stainless Стальной filter cells. Manifolds are complete with air hoses, cut-offs and bleeder valves.
