The Hub Clamps is a kind of high pressure connection component for wellhead equipment. The clamps are different from all other API equipment in regard to design and hydrotest. Clamps serve as fasteners similar to bolts, they do not come in contact with well fluid, and they may connect several API specified connectors having different nominal sizes and working pressures.

The hub clamp is designed and manufactured according to API Spec 16A, Clamps provide a reliable means to join API and other hub connections. Any of the equipment in the following list may have clamp hub connections:
